The Star Magnolia is blooming so beautifully right now. I love it. It also has a wonderful smell. I like to think of it as "The Star of the Show"
I think this is a Viburnam. I am not sure because it was a pass-a-long plant. It grows with little care. I prune it each spring and it seems to hold its shape all summer unlike the hedge that needs pruning every couple weeks. I will prune it after it is finished flowering.

It is wonderful! I remember how soft and full the petals are when I first saw one last year.
A beautiful tree! The flowers are so showy right now.
Cindee we have to wait a long time yet .. but we have those in our neighborhood and they are pretty !
I have a standard viburnum but it has flowers like the head of Queen Anne's Lace and some what like a lace cap hydrangea .. subtle but so pretty too.
It is very nice to see what you have on the go girl !
We've had gorgeous weather, but a freeze is expected tonight. Love the spring blooms!

Hi Paris,
I am sorry you are going through such a terrible time right now. Hang in there. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers!
Hi Chuck,
It actually takes years to get big. I bought this one in a one gallon can! I guess you could prune it to fit(-:
